AG Annex began in the smallest possible way — a single 10 x 10 room tucked inside Re-Find Marketplace. An annex, by definition, is an addition — a space connected to something larger. Ours started as just that: a small extension carved out to hold a handful of carefully chosen dolls and a simple belief that childhood treasures deserve a second life. What began as a quiet corner for pre-loved American Girl and Pleasant Company dolls grew steadily thanks to customers who appreciated the quality and kept the shelves turning. Over time, that small addition expanded — until the annex became the entire marketplace, now spanning over 2,000 square feet of floor space.

The original vision of Pleasant Company, founded by Pleasant Rowland, was never just about dolls. It was about bringing history to life for girls through story — and giving them characters in whom they could recognize pieces of themselves. The books came first. The dolls followed as a way to make those stories tangible. That spirit still guides what we do. Whether it’s a historical character, a Girl of the Year capturing a specific moment in time, or a Truly Me doll reflecting her owner, each one carries a narrative worth preserving. 

For us, this store is about stewardship. We buy collections of all sizes and carefully curate every piece — from early Pleasant Company details to modern favorites. We serve families introducing a child to their first doll, and we serve collectors who recognize the subtle differences that make certain pieces special. Condition matters. History matters. So does the quiet satisfaction of finding the special item you’ve been searching for.

AG Annex is rooted right here in our local community. What started as a modest addition has grown into a dedicated space entirely focused on preserving these stories.
